One of the biggest challenges the church is facing is the disconnect with Millennials. Dozens of studies have been done and numerous articles have been written about why Millennials are leaving the church. Most of the content that’s been written has been pretty discouraging. It’s easy for a church leader to feel discouraged about reaching Millennials when all they hear about is what the church is doing wrong.
Thankfully, there’s one person trying to change that…
Instead of just pontificating, Heather’s going into investigate what’s working. After spending ten weeks with churches from across the country that are getting Millennial ministry right, she’s going to record her findings in a book.
Here’s what I love about this idea…
Not only are Millennials going to save publishing, they’re going to use publishing to “save” the church. Heather’s goal isn’t to “sell a book” it’s to use a book as a way to make a significant impact in the future of the Church for the next 20 or 30 years.
If your church is struggling to connect with Millennials, I’d definitely encourage you to pay attention to what Heather is doing.
If you had the opportunity to publish a book to make some sort of social impact, what would it be?
