The complex sale is typically a high-dollar purchasing or investment decision made by more than one person. While there may be a final decision maker, there are often multiple people playing a variety of influential roles during the process.
The important thing to remember in a complex sale is that there isn’t any “one thing” that makes the difference. It is a cumulative effect of a lot of things.
SEO helps affirm what the company is discovering about you. You’re at the table because someone has already done a little research. And they will further investigate the mission-critical issues online, for sure.
Will SEO close the deal in a complex B2B sales environment? Probably not—at least in and of itself. But it could be one thing that separates you from your competition.
