Books are effective ways to pass on wisdom from one generation to the next.
We had the privilege of working with Tim Stevens to help him compile a book of sermon transcripts for his late brother-in-law, Patrick McGoldrick, someone who left this earth too early.
By capturing some of Patrick’s most significant thoughts and work in this book, his wife and young children will have something to remind them of the wisdom he shared and lived. Others who knew Patrick will have something to remind them of how Patrick’s ideas shaped their lives. I suspect people who never knew Patrick but encounter this book will be shaped by his wisdom, too.
Every team member who worked on this project was changed by his courage in life and commitment to and passion for his faith. Patrick was a truly inspirational leader.
We were honored to participate in this process. Check out the book. Patrick was a powerful communicator. You’ll enjoy reading it, and you’ll be challenged just as much as we were.
Have you considered a book as a way to share the wisdom you’ve gained through life with those who will come behind you?
