I can’t believe it has been three years since I left corporate life and went out on my own. It’s been an interesting road, indeed, but I certainly feel blessed for all the good things that have come my way.

I get to do what I love with people who inspire me. I’m not sure it gets much better than that.

The first quarter of 2013 is going to be a whirlwind. I’m launching several new projects as well as on-boarding new clients. Because of my schedule, I’m also expanding my team to include a project coordinator. (You’ll hear more about this later.)

Due to the nature of the projects happening over the next several months, I need to eliminate as many things as possible off my “everyday” calendar. One of those things is keeping this blog current. I need to make room to ensure I can give full attention to the commitments I’ve made.

I have asked Jeremy Chandler to write the weekly blog post for the next several months. He is more than capable, and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to give him some more room to shine. I know you’ll enjoy reading his insights because I learn something from him every time we talk.

I met Jeremy when he interned with me at a previous employer. (That was four years ago!) I knew then and there that he was someone I wanted to work with if I ever had to chance. When the opportunity came, I didn’t waste any time in asking him. He has been a part of my work from almost the very beginning.

He is bright, intelligent, and someone I’m convinced I will be working for some day. (I really do believe that.) So for this season, I’m grateful he is part of my team and working with me.

What are you most excited about in 2013?
